The novel 1984 takes place in a future society where citizens are under constant surveillance, and every move they make is monitored. I designed this cover for the book as an attempt to create a new solution that hadn't been thought of before. There are hundreds of covers for this novel, but most of them fall into a constructivist, vector style. Instead, I tried to capture the feeling of surveillance and the screens that monitor the civilians' every move.
